Mission
Anytown Christian School is a Christian school in Anytown, US started and supported by Anytown Christian Church. We educate children from preschool (4 years old) through 8th grade. Our mission is to assist the family and church by providing a Christ-centered curriculum, equipping students with a Biblical worldview, and encouraging a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our teachers and administrators love children, love the Lord, love education and are well educated and trained. We get to know every child and their family, and our class sizes are limited, so we can provide the individual attention each child needs to succeed.
We also strive to help every child to develop holistically, therefore in addition to a strong academic emphasis, students are taught the bible, participate in a weekly chapel service, have opportunities to sing in the school choir and band, go on field trips, and participate in drama and sports.
History
Anytown Christian School began as a ministry of Anytown Christian Church in 1984. We started in 1984 with preschool and added a grade each year until the 1993-1994 school year when we added 8th grade and graduated our first class of 8th graders.
In 1995, Anytown Christian school became it’s own entity with its own board of directors and its own budget, while continuing to share facilities with Anytown Christian Church.
Since then Anytown Christian has graduated more than 150 8th graders many of whom have gone on to graduate from college. Our graduates include teachers, missionaries, engineers, business owners, and ordained ministers.
